Scottish Rite Cathedral Wedding | Austin & Brittany | Indianapolis Wedding Planner

For hometown sweethearts, Austin and Brittany the journey to their 2021 wedding was an arduous one. Like so many couples, these two came face to face with many obstacles due to the Covid-19 pandemic and quickly saw their dreams for a 2020 wedding come to a screeching halt. The road was long for these two, and ultimately required rescheduling three wedding dates, before the stars ultimately aligned for them to tie the knot with their dream wedding. Their day included unique touches like a custom champagne wall in which guests would ring a bell, and Champagne would appear through multiple windows, an anniversary auction, choreographed father/daughter dance, custom ice sculpture and oh-so much more (scroll for the full wedding video)! After such a long journey to the altar, it was our planning and onsite team's top priority to make this an absolutely flawless day for Austin and Brittany.

The bride, in her stunning lace gown, was accompanied by a chic bridal party in mix and match neutrals, Their light, elegant looks were complemented by Pomp and Bloom's bouquets of bright and airy blush and white blooms with greenery.

The groom and his gentlemen were a perfectly elegant accompaniment to the bridal party with their classic suits and neutral detailing. The overall styling of the wedding party had an elevated, timeless feeling.

The group traveled through downtown Indy in style in their private trolley, which added an additional element of timelessness to the day. After rescheduling so many times, the dream finally came true. Austin and Brittany finally made it official, saying "I do," surrounded in the church by their nearest and dearest.

The joyous, celebratory nature of the day was felt everywhere they went. Awaiting them at the gorgeous Scottish Rite Cathedral were towering floral arrangements which were paired with lush garlands, shimmering linens, and luxe beaded chargers. The mix of high and low florals was perfect for the round and rectangular tables that filled the space.

Austin and Brittany's wedding day was everything they imagined and more: a live service champagne wall, stunning florals and decor, a packed dance floor and so much more. All of this while surrounded by 400+ of their closest friends and family. To close out their magical day, the happy couple was sent off to begin their forever in a glittering sparkler exit.
