Scottish Countryside Inspired Wedding | Laurel Hall | Indianapolis Wedding Planner
We had been planning a destination wedding with Corin & Zack, dreaming of far away castles in Scotland where they could bring 50 of their closest friends and family. They decided they wanted to celebrate with more of their loved ones, so we pivoted their plans to their hometown of Indianapolis. A delicate color palette of cream, neutral and blush accented with warm greens and shimmering gold, warmed this winter wedding, exuding classic-vintage elegance.
The chapel in Laurel Hall looked like a wooded garden, with flowers appearing to grow out of the floor down the aisle, and climbing down the walls to create a romanic scene. We adorned the Lilly Reception Room of Laurel Hall with white textured linens and velvet emerald green runners to warm the room for this wintery wedding. In the evening frosty glow, the room was dancing with warm candle light and soft pillowy floral by Pomp and Bloom. To warm the soul we offered guests a hot chocolate bar, including Tim-Tams as a head nod to the groom's time spent in Australia.
The evening ended with the couple whisking off in a vintage car, lead by an aisle of sparklers from their remaining celebrating guests. This classic wedding will stand the test of time.
