Repeal Party Indy 2021 Tickets | Fundraiser celebrating Prohibition Repeal

The repeal party Indianapolis celebrates the repeal of Prohibition which took place on Dec. 5, 1933. After more than 13 years of the United States as a dry country, Prohibition ended – allowing Americans to once again legally consume alcohol. Goodbye bathtub gin hello craft cocktails. The United States Bartenders Guild of Indiana (USBG) annually hosts Indy Repeal Day, a party in the Catacombs of Indianapolis below City Market to pay homage to this historical event.

The 2021 event will feature a speakeasy style party with 10 bars: 8 featuring unique cocktails sponsored byPernod-Ricard, craft beer from Stella Artois and a wine bar by Pernod-Ricard. Cocktails will be crafted by some of the Circle City’s best bartenders, a Photo Booth will be available to capture your memories of the event, food features by Almost Famous, and tunes by DysFUNKtion Brass Band to float you through the evening.

Guests are encouraged to dress in prohibition-era attire such as flapper-style dresses with fur shawls and Al Capone-inspired suits. Attendeesmust be 21 years of age or older and open toed shoes are prohibited (the catacombs are original, dirt floors).

This event is the annual fundraiser for the USBG of Indiana, assisting and benefiting the hospitality workers in Indiana.
