Sunshine, music, food, cocktails, and dogs. This fundraising event was paw-fect! Fur The Brand held its first annual fundraiser, Poochella, at White River State Park to raise awareness for canine cancer. Fur The Brand is a female-led nonprofit that provides financial assistance to pets who face a cancer diagnosis, in which their owners are unable to afford.
This vibrant family and dog friendly festival had something for everyone. Pets in attendance were treated with doggy pools, pup cup bars, and vendors providing special snacks. As the pups were splashing in the pool, owners were treated to specialty cocktails from Mirth & Myrrh, a lineup of local DJs, photo-ops, cotton candy, magicians, local artisans, food trucks,Tye-Dye Tees, games, bounce houses and more!
Take a look at these paw-some images.
Throughout the event, dogs splashed around in mini pools to cool down from the summer heat.
Sam McAfee, Founder and CEO of Fur The Brand, had a ball with the dogs attending the festival.
Dogs wasted no time running up to the Pup Cup Bar! Who can blame them?
