Indiana War Memorial Wedding | Wedding Planner | Jenny & Paul

Jenny and Paul waited an extra year to celebrate their marriage after Covid-19 brought their original wedding plans to a halt. After the private ceremony at the Indiana War Memorial in 2020, during the height of the pandemic,

Jenny reached out to us to help her plan an epic reception to the couple's love the way they deserved. I thought, what better location than where they originally tied the knot? Paul's active duty military service made it feel even more fitting.

We pulled out all the stops to transform this Indianapolis landmark from museum to soft and celebratory for the occasion! We gathered some of our favorite vendors to make this intimate Indiana War Memorial Wedding extra special. We decorated with soft draping, lighting, neutral tones, and the bride's favorite flower, Birds of Paradise, providing a tropical touch. Greenery backdrops helped us to separate spaces during cocktail hour and add a touch of green "life" to the space.

Gallery Pastry Bar and Mirth & Myrrh provided special catering for the reception, which included a giant charcuterie display, live oyster shucking station, Caviar and Bellini's, family style coursed dinner, a live action crepe bar and a custom wine/cocktail menu. In true Russian tradition, guests toasted the bride and groom with chilled vodka. Guests ended the evening with take away custom ice cream cookie sandwiches accompanied by a sparkler exit.
