Hilbert Circle Theater | Indianapolis Wedding Planning
Colette and Aziz created a celestial celebration of the fusion of their lives to celebrate their most special day. The bride used her creativity and artistic skills to hand-craft many elements of their day, including the starry-sky ceremony backdrop on the Hilbert Circle Theatre Stage, and giant glitterati moon adorning the couple's sweetheart stage.
Colette and Aziz thoroughly thought through how they would spend the precious hours of the best day for their Hilbert Circle Theatre Wedding. One of the most intimate moments included an exchange letters with one another before their first look. The first look gave them time to soak up alone time before the day's celebrations kicked off. In order to snag a few more moments alone and maximize time with their guests, they two opted to have a private dinner during cocktail hour, which gave them time to visit with their guests during the dinner.
Beyond her artistic abilities, the bride had many surprises in store for her groom and their guests. including a second bridal look. After their first look, ceremony and bridal party photos in her Vera Wang wedding gown, the bride changed into a traditional Sari and family heirloom jewelry gifted to her by the Mother of the groom. After dinner hour Collette had yet another surprise to unveil: a custom dance with fire and backup dancers. Aziz and their guests were shocked with joy and giving her a standing ovation before the performance concluded.

Colette's Jimmy Choo flats were a great accessory to her Vera Wang Gown, and the celestial theme of the wedding day.

The bride's grandmother and Aunt helped adorn the bride in her accessories before seeing the groom, the bridal suite at Hilbert Circle Theatre.
The wedding day blessed the happy couple with clear skies and perfect weather.
The bride had henna art on her hands and feet during a traditional Mehndi Ceremony at her home, prior to the wedding day. The superstition is that the deeper/darker the color of the Mehndi, the deeper the bond is between the bride and her husband to be! It's safe to say, Mr. & Mrs. have a deep, long lasting bond!
After the bridal getting ready, Collette and Aziz shared letters with one another in the same room. An emotional and intimate moment. Once they ready their letters, they had their first look in the entrance of Hilbert Circle Theatre.
After the first look, we stepped out the doors of Hilbert Circle Theatre to Monument Circle for warm and romantic bride and groom portraits.
Aziz and his groomsmen wore classic black tuxes from The Black Tux.
Colette's bridesmaids wore mis-matched glittery gowns in navy, with her maid-of-honor in stand out silver sparkles.
A grand wedding ceremony in the Hilbert Circle Theatre with the theatre's starry sky lights and the bride's custom painted starry night sky back drops.
It's official!
After the ceremony and more bride/groom portraits to capture that "just married" bliss, Colette changed into her gorgeous blue and silver Sari. A surprise for the groom and their guests.
She was also adorned in heirloom jewelry passed on from the Mother of the Groom.
The bride and groom had their grand entrance down the grand stairs from the mezzanine to the grand hall in Hilbert Circle Theatre in Indianapolis.
Gluten free dessert bar provided by No Label at The Table, an Indianapolis based dessert vendor providing gluten free desserts in support of Autism.
The groom's mother preformed a traditional Pakistani ceremony during the wedding reception, in which the couple smashed pots at the conclusion of the ceremony. This is one of the many elements they added to their wedding day to create a fusion of their two celebrate cultures.

Their reception included a sweet heart stage with a celestial moon backdrop the bride hand-crafted.

Colette surprised Aziz and all their guests with a traditional dance, including back up dancers and fire. Everyone was shocked and awed at her performance, giving her a standing ovation.
We took a few moments to capture some of their newlywed bliss and the joy of the day after all the surprises.
One of my favorite things about Collette and Aziz is their ability to have fun together. They are more than willing to let go and enjoy the moment.
As the evening began to grow dark, stars were projected onto the ceiling of Hilbert Circle Theatre, above the reception space in theatre lobby. The energy remained high and the dance floor packed for the remainder of the evening.
