Alison and Taylor had big plans for an extremely unique celebration in the heart of the city of Indianapolis.
As the co-owner of a growing empire of successful, stylish and delectable restaurants and pastry bars, Alison had food and fun at the very top of her list when considering wedding celebrations.
While those plans did not come to fruition due to COVID restrictions and an exciting but unexpected surprise, we re-imagined an intimate celebratory day for this extra-special couple. We planned a boho-inspired elegant wedding with the help of floral designer Robyn Harder at RK Florals, a day full of delicious treats and a custom wedding reception menu thanks to the Conrad Indianapolis team and onsite social event planner Kelly Robertson.
Alison, Taylor and baby Jude: I'm beyond honored that you entrusted our team with your wedding day. We look forward to being a part of your journey and watching your family grow.
Conrad Indianapolis Wedding | Gallery Pastry Bar | Indianapolis Wedding Planner
Alison chose to get ready in her Indianapolis home, which she's designed on her own.
As one of the owners of multiple, popular and absolutely fabulous restaurants and pastry shops (Gallery Pastry Bar, Gallery Pastry Shop, Macs.Well), Alison had the most scrumptious line up on her wedding day: starting with Pastries from Gallery Pastry Bar and Noshes from Goose the Market and Bluebeard. After Alison was glammed and ready, family joined for a quick brunch and family photos to kick off the celebrations.
Taylor and his best man got ready in the groom's getting ready suite and the couple's Indianapolis wedding night hotel room, a Pop Suite at the Conrad Indianapolis.
While Taylor and his best man traveled from the Conrad to the couple's shared home, Alison had a first look with her doting dad.
Taylor and Alison had their first look near their home - a place they will revisit fondly and often.
Ceremony: Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Fountain Square Indianapolis | Indianapolis Catholic Wedding
The bride and groom were whisked away in a classic car after the ceremony for wedding photos around downtown Indianapolis and in Fountain Square.
While the couple relished their time and created beautiful wedding photos, guests were greeted with Champagne at the Conrad in the heart of the city.
The table settings at this intimate and elegant - boho wedding looked like still life paintings, come to life! If you look closely at these centerpieces by RK Floral, you might spy some elements from this special day in the decor of Gallery Pastry Bar!
