Nevada Destination Wedding | Destination Wedding Planner | Jonathan & Amanda

We were ecstatic when Jonathan & Amanda asked us to plan their intimate destination wedding at The Palazzo and The Vally of Fire in Nevada. There's something magical about packing a bag and getting away to celebrate your love.

Their Nevada destination wedding began at the Palazzo, connected to the VEnitian on the Las Vegas strip. Amanda had her hair and makeup done at the spa onsite before meeting Jonathan on the property for their first look in the gardens. We took our time snagging photos and allowing Jonathan and Amanda to revel in some private moments of love.

A limo arrived at the Palazzo to escort the couple to the Valley of Fire for their desert ceremony. The Valley of Fire State Park is famous for it's red clay, Aztec sandstone outcrops pictured below . The red clay sandstone is surrounded by distant and towering beige and grey mountains of limestone. When searching for a destination wedding location and Amanda stumbled upon photos of the Vally of Fire, she was captivated. She instantly knew this was where her and Jonathan would travel to say, "I Do".

The classic and modern invitations were a a great preview of the ceremony backdrop, where towering red sandstone meets vast, blue desert skies. Including prism shapes and blush, eluding the geometric shapes of the gorgeous floral of desert flowers. Elite Floral Events included pops of yellow and an abundance of greenry to stand out against the red and blue of the open desert scene.

The groom's style in a bright blue suit popped beautifully against the sandstone back drop. We love that he chose not to don a tie, given the extreme heat and sand winds, the relaxed feel of his look is so GQ. Amanda's A-line gown couldn't have been more perfect, with delicate beading at the shoulders and our jaws dropped when the flowing skirt was captured by the wind. It paired perfectly with her long golden curls.
