Laughter, Love and Joy. Stacy and Ilya surrounded themselves in just that on their wedding day at Newfields in Indianapolis.

The day we met Stacy and Ilya to chat about their wedding at Newfields, they had a relaxed, jovial manner with one another. They were so calm about the coming wedding and shared wonderful tales of their childhood and romantic past. I was shocked to learn that they were childhood friends, with no intention of ending up together (despite their mothers conspiring to marry them off to one another later in life). However, these two crossed paths again as young adults and their lives are forever intertwined. What a romantic love story!

Stacy and Ilya - thank you for trusting us to be a part of your special day. We will never forget witnessing the love you have for one another, your family and friends. What close and intimate bonds you have with such special people in your life. Here's to more Hippos and rooms full of laughter!!

Stacy's attendants sang Disney ballads as we secured her veil and the mother of the bride put the final touches on her beautiful daughter.

The bride and groom had their first look at the home the purchased together. Their friends were gathered around to with excited spirits to celebrate the two.

The flower girls couldn't help but celebrate with their own petal toss over the couple after they said, "I DO".

The couple took some time to explore them grounds of the Newfields, Indianapolis Museum of Art on their rainy wedding day to capture some one-on-one memories.

Stacy and Ilya's grandparents gave lovely toasts in their native language, translated by the couple's mothers. They included joyous memories and life long advice on love and family. Their parents each also gave heart warming toasts (that purple Hippo will forever be engrained in my memory) - there was not a dry eye in room at Newfields.
